Hi! I’m Megan, the cool girl who runs this show. If you’re reading this it’s probably because you want to get to know me, so I feel like I should tell you the important things first like … I love all things life, am a Christian (not the “in name only” variety), count my macros, finally learned to run, wore yoga pants before they were cool, dig all things green smoothie, workout way too much, and have a habit of taking complicated controversial subjects and breaking them down in simple, meaningful, and entertaining ways.
My Education and Background
I finished college at nineteen with a degree in political science. My desire to save the world from itself and “right” all the “wrongs” motivated me to go to law school, and my love for food and natural medicine (along with my desire to do 5,000 things at once) led me to the study of natural health. I have a law degree, am a certified Natural Health Educator, became a certified Naturopath after completing four years of training at two different institutions, am Precision Nutrition certified in nutrition and exercise science, founded Live Beyond Words, Inc., which focuses on orphan care and poverty alleviation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and worked as a marketing manager for a social media company before I jumped into blogging full-time. I recently launched my own supplement line and the “Living Whole Project” is in the works.
As for all that other stuff…
In case you haven’t noticed, I am super passionate about writing, empowering others, the Gospel, truth, health and wellness, and giving people the information they need to help them live healthy lives and raise healthy children.
